Taylor’s Chip Dry

Ingredients

Taylor’s Chip Dry was the first dry white port to hit the market • Introduced in 1934, this original aperitif combines the aroma of various ripe fruits, giving it a notable liveliness • The wine is matured in oak casks for just enough time to pass on a slight touch of wood, while maintaining its fresh palate and extra-dry finish • Serve cold

Method

To make a refreshing aperitif, take a long glass and fill with ice, then add: ½ a glass of Taylor’s Chip Dry • ½ a glass of tonic water • 1 mint leaf or lemon slice Taylor’s Portonic goes well with nibbles (almonds, peanuts, pistachios and olives) and works well as an alternative to gin & tonic.
