Dead Fingers

Ingredients
50g soft butter • 30g cane sugar • 30g vanilla sugar • 125g self raising flour • 4 almonds, cut in halves
Method
Preheat the oven to 225°C • Use a blender to mix the butter and the sugars until fluffy • Add the flour little by little until you have a firm dough • Remove from the blender and knead further with your hands • Form eight fingers from the dough, scoring the knuckles carefully with a knife and using the almond halves as nails • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes
