Spiders Dip

Ingredients
1kg self raising flour • 500-600ml water or milk • Salt • 1 egg • 1egg yolk for colour • 2 raisins • Lettuce/dip
Method
Mix the flour, milk, salt and egg into a dough and knead until smooth • Split into two balls and leave to rise until double the original size • One ball can make the head and body of the spider, the raisins and be used as eyes • Use the other ball to make eight little spiders • Arrange of a baking tray and leave to rise again • Preheat the oven to 200°C • Brush the spiders with egg yolk • Bake for 25 minutes, then leave to cool • Gouge out a hole into the back of the big spider and stuff with lettuce and a favourite dip sauce • Use the small spiders to dip in the sauce
